Remains found in Hudson last month have been identified as Robert J. Coons.

Coons was reported missing in July 2023.

The bones were found by a survey crew on Mill Street last December.

Investigators tested DNA on one of the bones to get an identity, they said.

How Coons died is still under investigation, but investigators don’t think there was foul play, they said.
