Rensselaer County man accused of having child porn

A Rensselaer County man is accused of possessing child pornography.

Brayden P. Ayer, 20, of Castleon on Hudson, possessed images consistent with child exploitation, according to New York State Police. He was arrested after police searched his home.

Ayer was charged with promoting a sexual performance by a child and possessing a sexual performance by a child. He was sent to Rensselaer County Jail in lieu of $20,000 bail.
