Rensselaer County man charged with sexually abusing minors

A Rensselaer County man is charged with sexually abusing two minors.

Shawn Gillingham, 33, was first charged Dec. 1 with raping a child under 15.

The next day, a second child – who is under 17 – came forward with similar allegations, say police.

Gillingham was sent to the Rensselaer County Jail in lieu of bail.
