Rensselaer County Sheriff’s Office arrest two for sale of cocaine, fentanyl

The Rensselaer County Sheriff’s Office arrested Katherine Rodriguez, 55, and Carlos Rivera-Muller, 41, both from Troy, on drug-related charges for selling cocaine and fentanyl on Friday.
Rodriguez and Rivera-Muller were both charged with two counts of third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance.
The Sheriff’s Office says Rodriguez has five prior felony convictions, and Rivera-Muller has two.
Authorities say both were taken into custody without incident. Rivera-Muller was released on probation supervision with electronic monitoring, and Rodriguez was also released on probation supervision.
