Ahsid Hemingway-Powell was found dead in her Albany apartment on Old Hickory Drive back on May 28.
“She was a really loving person,” Amir Powell said of his sister, “She wouldn’t ever hurt anyone. She had so many ambitions and goals and her life was just starting when things were just getting good. It’s just really hurtful for everyone.”

Police have never spoken about a motive, nor have they indicated a weapon was used.
Robinson pled not guilty to second-degree murder charges in Albany County Court on Friday afternoon. He was sent to the Albany County Jail, pending a bail hearing.
Hemingway-Powell had just graduated from the University at Albany weeks before her death. Her mother tells NewsChannel 13 she wanted to become a physician assistant.
