State Police: No ‘credible threat’ at Capital Region schools after bomb threats
New York State Police is investigating bomb threats received at several school districts across the state.
A number of schools in the Capital Region are among them. However, State Police haven’t seen anything specific, they said.
“There is no information to indicate a specific and credible threat at this time. We are working with our local and federal law enforcement partners to respond to these threats as necessary with a shared goal of keeping the public safe,” they said in a statement.
NewsChannel 13 has heard from people in several districts – including Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake, Bethlehem and Green Island.
We’re working to get more information and will have updates on WNYT.com and our later newscasts.
