Reward being offered for information on Menands bike trial murder

A $2,500 reward is being offered for information helpful to the investigation into the murder of a man on the bike path in Menands last April.

Daniel Frament was found dead on the Empire State Trail from multiple wounds and blunt force trauma on April 18, 2024 at around 3:30 p.m. He was walking north from Albany at the time of his death.

Frament lived in Troy and New York City.

New York Crime Stoppers is offering the reward. Anyone with information is asked to visit the website at www.nyscrimestoppers.org.

Earlier this month, State Police shared photos of Anthony Quesen, who is from the Baltimore area. Quesen is charged with the October murder of an off-duty law enforcement officer on the Montour Trail in Moon Township, Pennsylvania. Police say the case has similarities to the Menands investigation.
