Rochester man admits to sharing indecent material with child

A Rochester man admitted Wednesday to having inappropriate conversations with a Saratoga County child.  

Nicholas Eckhardt, 42, was arrested in July after State Police determined that he had shown indecent material to a child through social media. The child lived in Galway and the incident occurred in February. 

Eckhardt pleaded guilty in Saratoga County Court to disseminating indecent materials to minors, according to the Saratoga County District Attorney’s Office.  

He is scheduled to be sentenced on April 3.
