Saratoga man accused of possessing child pornography

A Saratoga man is accused of possessing child pornography.

State Police said Benjamin H. Phillips, 26, had images consistent with child exploitation at his home. The investigation stemmed from a cyber tip received by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

Phillips was charged with promoting a sexual performance by a child and promoting a sexual performance by a child.

He was arraigned in Saratoga Town Court and sent to Saratoga County Jail in lieu of bail set at $2,500 cash, $5,000 bond or $50,000 partially secured bond.
