Saratoga Springs gearing up for ‘New Year’s Fest’

Saratoga Springs is getting ready for its new New Year celebration.
It’s not the first time they’ve put on a big year-end party, but it’s the first time it’s not called First Night.
Saratoga New Year’s Fest is a brand new take on an old tradition.
There’s more of a focus on big musical acts.
A $20 badge gets you into all of the bars and venues to see well-known acts – more than 40 in total.
Fireworks will be launched from the top of the City Center Parking Garage, and they won’t wait until midnight. Instead, they will be at 6 p.m. – allowing more kids to see them, and serving as the border between the daytime and night-time activities.
The badges are on sale now at some Stewart’s Shops and other venues around Saratoga Springs.
