Saratoga Springs man accused of using fraudulent checks to steal $8,000

A man from Saratoga Springs was arrested after allegedly stealing more than $8,000 using fraudulent checks.
Jeffrey Bishop had multiple fraudulent checks named to him, state police said, and he cashed them at banks in Colonie, Guilderland and Bethlehem.
Bishop is facing grand larceny charges. He was arraigned and released under probation.
