Finding love after loss is the topic of the premiere episode of the new season of The Up Beat, a podcast about perseverance and hope from Kelly’s Angels.

NewsChannel 13’s Mark Mulholland sat down with Mike Billok for a candid conversation about how he and his second wife, Tricia, honor his late wife Kim. Kim Billok was just 42 years old when she passed away from mesothelioma in 2015, leaving behind Mike and their three children ages 16, 14 and 10.

Sitting next to Tricia, Mike talks lovingly about Kim, calling her amazing, creative, artistic and loving.  

Tricia agrees, saying she never wanted to replace Kim, only to honor her memory and be a woman figure for her children.

Mike and Tricia married in 2019 about four and a half years after Kim passed away.
