Perhaps more than anything else, Valentine’s Day reminds us the concept of love is timeless.
Art and Anne Graham fell in love when Art returned to Brooklyn from World War II. They were married September 11, 1950. She was 20, and he was 27. Art is 100, and Anne is 93.
Through constant community and maintaining a sense of humor, the marriage has not only endured, it has thrived for more than seven decades and still going strong.
Both Art and Anne say they’ve lived long enough to have checked everything off their respective bucket lists. However, they’re looking forward to celebrating their platinum anniversary so they can celebrate 75 years of wedded bliss.
