The Red Cross is helping eight people after a fire at an apartment building at 1315 Lower Broadway in Schenectady.

It happened around 3 a.m. Wednesday, investigators said.
The fire was put out in 25 minutes.

One person was arrested for getting in the way of firefighters.

No one was hurt.
