Schenectady group gives back to community

The downtown Schenectady Improvement Corporation is giving back to the community.

The group teamed up with Disney Theatrical Productions and community supporters earlier this month.
Schenectady Together for the Arts Granted to Everyone, STAGE for short, provided 200 children from Schenectady non-profits with free tickets to Disney’s The Lion King at Proctors.
Children and their families got the chance to enjoy pre-show snacks in Key Hall – followed by the performance on Proctors main stage.
Non-profits receiving tickets included Things of My Very Own, The boys and girls club of Schenectady, and the Hamilton Hill Arts Center.

Schenectady Together for the Arts Granted to Everyone started back in 2019 with the launch of the North American Tour of Disney’s Frozen.
