Schenectady Holiday Parade
Schenectady held its 54th annual holiday parade on Saturday evening.
Schenectady is now officially ready for the holidays as hundreds gathered Saturday evening for the city’s 54th annual holiday parade and tree-lighting.
Over 100 organizations, 2,000 people, and 300 vehicles were in the parade this year.
Gov. Kathy Hochul was in attendance and made a few remarks about the holiday season and the parade.
Lots of smiling faces and festive cheer were found in the crowd as colorful and bright holiday floats passed by.
