Schenectady man accused of choking Saratoga BLM activist
A Schenectady man was arrested Thursday in connection with an altercation involving a Saratoga Black Lives Matter activist.
Waldo Evora is accused of striking the person and putting his hands around their neck, Schenectady Police said. Evora was charged with misdemeanor criminal obstruction of breathing and a violation of harassment.
Schenectady Police confirmed that the arrest stemmed from the same incident involving Lexis Figuereo, who is accused of pointing a rifle at a person during an argument. Figuereo was charged with criminal possession of a weapon and menacing.
Figuereo tells NewsChannel 13 that he was the victim in this incident.
