State Police arrested a Schenectady man on child pornography charges.

Troopers searched the residence of Ryan Marx, 32, and found images consistent with child sexual exploitation, they said.

Marx was charged with promoting a sexual performance by a child and possessing a sexual performance by a child.

He was sent to Schenectady County Jail pending arraignment.
