Schenectady man indicted in East Greenbush man’s death
Man charged with attempted murder in Albany shooting for allegedly trying to kill someone with a handgun.
A Schenectady man has been indicted for allegedly causing the death of an East Greenbush man.
It happened at America’s Best Value Inn on Aug. 8.
Da-Von Carr, 30, was charged with criminally negligent homicide and assault in the death of Edward Brown.
Carr is accused of punching Edward Brown, 62, in the head at America’s Best Value Inn in East Greenbush. Brown was taken to the hospital and placed on life support. He died two days later.
The Rensselaer County District Attorney’s Office is in charge of the case, with Assistant District Attorney Antonia Edwards leading it.
