Schenectady man pleads guilty for attempted drug sale
A Schenectady man pleaded guilty to having and trying to sell DMT – a hallucinogen similar to LSD.

The U.S. attorney’s office tells us that 30-year-old Daniel Scotsross from Schenectady admitted that he had more than 10 kilograms of bark containing DMT.
He also admitted to having two guns, specifically parts used to convert them into machine guns.
He now faces a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison, a fine up to $1 million and at least three years parole.
