Schenectady Police arrest nine people in prostitution investigation

Nine people were arrested for patronizing a prostitute, said Schenectady Police.

The Schenectady Special Investigations Unit with help from the State Police Violent Gang and Narcotics Enforcement Team conducted a prostitution detail.

Six people are from Schenectady, one is from Altamont, one from Scotia, and one from Niskayuna.

Everyone was released, said police, and are due back in Schenectady City Court in March.
