Schenectady Police identify victim of deadly shooting

Schenectady Police have identified the victim of Wednesday’s deadly shooting.

Wilfredo N. Vasquez, 36, was shot and killed in front of 1807 Van Vranken Ave. just before 3:30 p.m.

The incident stemmed from some sort of fight, according to police.  Anyone with information is asked to contact detectives at 518-382-52545 or the tips line at 518-788-6566.
