Schenectady Police investigating stabbing

Schenectady Police are investigating a stabbing early Saturday.

Police responded to the area of State Street and Fehr Avenue near VibeZ restaurant just before 3 a.m. for a report of unknown trouble.

A short time later, a stabbing victim was located at Ellis Hospital. The victim’s injuries were not life-threatening, police said.

No arrests have been made.

The bar was the scene of a deadly shooting back in 2022. John Bass, 24, died outside the bar on July 1, 2022.
