Why leave your home to go to a concert when the concert can come right to you?

That is what Porch Fest in Schenectady is all about.

This is the second year that neighbors allowed musicians to use their porches to give the community a day of free live music.

There were half a dozen porches in the Electric City’s historic GE Realty plot that people could go to.

We spoke to the organizer who says he wants this event to get as big as other similar events across New York State.
