Schenectady restaurant gives out 100 free chicken sandwiches
The Nest 518 in Schenectady gave away 100 free chicken sandwiches to customers on Thursday.
It was a first come, first serve deal that began when the restaurant opened at 11:30.
The sandwiches were paid for by Jeff Buell of Redburn Development.
The goal was to encourage people to support local restaurants, amid all the excitement for the new Chick-fil-A restaurants in Clifton Park and North Greenbush.
Patrons could dine-in or take out, but no matter how they chose to eat it, the sandwich was free.
