Schroon Lake man, 19, dead in motorcycle crash

A 19-year-old Schroon Lake man was killed in a motorcycle crash on Tuesday.

It happened around 3 p.m. on the Exit 29 on-ramp of the Northway in North Hudson. Brock A. Pynes lost control of the motorcycle and slid into the right southbound lane of travel, State Police said. He was then struck by an SUV.

Pynes was pronounced dead at the scene.  

The crash is under investigation.
