Scotia Police investigate carjacking
Scotia Police are investigating a carjacking.
Officers responded to the area of Bruce Street in the village at about 11 a.m. for a report of robbery. The victim told police that he was approached from behind and threatened with a handgun. The suspect then forcefully stole the vehicle.
The suspect then left heading toward Route 50 and North Ballston Avenue in Scotia, police said. The vehicle was located a short time later in Cambridge Manor.
Police believe that this was a random act.
