The going-away party for Shaun and Shamus Evans was at City Line Bar and Grill on Western Avenue in Albany.

Last year, they ran the Boston Marathon, which had been one of their goals.
Now they’re setting off for Japan soon, where they will become the first tandem runners in Tokyo Marathon history.
About a decade ago, Shaun and Shamus did a run across America to spread their message of inclusion.
Running 3200 miles across the country, they also raised a lot of money for the fight against cerebral palsy.
Since then, there have been many marathons and fundraising runs, and now they’re set to make history in Japan.
