Sentencing moved in deadly Albany shooting

Sentencing has been moved to May 9 in a deadly Albany shooting.
Jarrell Howard of Colonie was supposed to be sentenced on Monday.
Howard pleaded guilty in December to shooting and killing Nyjawaun Thomas of Troy back in June 2020.
The shooting took place near the intersection of South Pearl Street and Morton Avenue.
Howard also pleaded guilty to three counts of attempted second-degree murder for separate gun-related charges. He is facing 29 to 40 years to life in state prison.
