Services for another local New York National Guard member who died in a helicopter crash in Texas will take place next week.

Calling hours for Chief Warrant Officer John Grassia III are Monday from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Saint John the Evangelist Church in Schenectady.

There will be a Mass the following day followed by burial at Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery.

Chief Warrant Officer Casey Frankoski also died in that crash near the U.S.-Mexico border. Her funeral was on Friday.
