A Watervliet standoff is now over. Investigators stormed a home at 7th Avenue near 2nd Street and didn’t find anyone inside.
Two pops were heard at the home about 90 minutes before the standoff ended. The pops were the sound of glass breaking as police put in drones.
Four people were taken into custody as part of the investigation, including two people at the scene. It’s not clear where the other two suspects were found.
Police say they also recovered a gun in a vehicle.
Police went to the 7th Avenue home after shots were fired at 23rd Street between 2nd and 3rd Avenues on Tuesday afternoon.
