An Amsterdam woman was arrested on Tuesday after police said she drove without a license to Dunkin’ Donuts – nine days after she was arrested at that same location.
Deputies stopped Frankie L. Ballou, 33, at the donut shop on Route 30 in the town of Amsterdam. Ballou driving privileges were suspended nine times on five separate dates, according to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.
Ballou had been arrested on Dec. 1 at that same location. She allegedly had given police a false name, which was linked to outstanding warrants. She was charged at that time with aggravated unlicensed operation, unlicensed operator, uninspected motor vehicle and criminal impersonation.
Ballou was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation in this latest incident. She was arraigned in Amsterdam Town Court and sent to Montgomery County Jail. Ballou was released on $500 cash bail.
