Sheriff: Employee at Queensbury nursing home took patient’s medication

An employee at a Warren County nursing home is accused of taking a patient’s medication.

Emily C. Duval, 24, of Granville allegedly, ingested the medication meant for a resident at Adirondack Manor in Queensbury. Duval then altered medical records to make it look like the medication was given to the patient, according to the Warren County Sheriff’s Office.

The alleged incident happened back in June. Duval was arrested on Dec. 31. Duval was charged with falsifying business records, criminal possession of a controlled substance and petit larceny.

She was arraigned in Warren County Centralized Arraignment Court and released under the supervision of probation. She is due in Queensbury Town Court on Jan. 6.
