Greenfield man accused of leading police on chase with stolen car

A Greenfield man is accused of leading police on a chase in a stolen vehicle.

The incident happened on Oct. 24, 2024. Michael P. Allen, 42, drove through the towns of Greenfield and Corinth in a car later reported stolen, the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office said.

Allen also caused more than $250 worth of damage to the vehicle, according to investigators.

Allen was charged with criminal possession of stolen property, criminal mischief and unlawful fleeing a police officer in a motor vehicle. He was arraigned in Ballston Town Court and sent to Saratoga County Jail pending further proceedings in Greenfield Town Court.
