Sheriff: Greenfield man made threats with weapons

A Saratoga County man is accused of threatening a person with weapons.

Matthew L. Snowball, 48, of Greenfield, allegedly displayed a BB rifle and a wooden club. It happened on Friday at a home on Jones Road in the town of Wilton just after 5 p.m., according to the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office.

Snowball has previously been convicted of a crime, police said.

Snowball was charged with two counts of criminal possession of a weapon and one count of menacing. He was arraigned in Wilton Town Court and sent to Saratoga County Jail pending further proceedings.
