Sheriff’s Office: Woman arrested for strangulation in Milton

41-year-old Jennifer L. Fraser of Milton was arrested on Saturday following a report for strangulation and endangering the welfare of a child.

The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office say they responded to a welfare check call at 5:04 a.m. at 885 Middle Line Road in Milton and arrested Fraser.

She is accused of applying pressure to the throat or neck of another person with intentions to impede normal breathing or blood circulation of that person. Police say this allegedly led to the person losing consciousness.

Authorities say at the time of the incident, an 8-month-old child was reportedly present.

The Sheriff’s Office arrested and charged Fraser with second-degree strangulation and endangering the welfare of a child.

Fraser was arraigned in Milton Town Court and remanded to the Saratoga County Jail in lieu of bail or bond, pending further action in the matter.
