Shooting in Central Park injures man
Schenectady Police are investigating shooting in Central Park that happened just before the opening of a new pool.
A 22-year-old was hit by gunfire in Central Park on Wednesday morning – just a few hours before a gathering to open a new pool.
Schenectady Police confirmed that a 22-year-old man walked into Ellis Hospital after being hit in the shoulder with a bullet. The shooting happened after an argument at the basketball courts.
Police found shell casings at the courts.
The Times Union reported that two people were shooting at each other.
