Six teens injured in Albany shooting
Six teens were shot at large gathering in Albany late Thursday into Friday morning, police said.
Six teens were shot at a large gathering in Albany late Thursday into Friday morning, police said.
Officers went to a home on the 600 block of Myrtle Avenue around 12:15 a.m. They found evidence of gunfire in the back, they said. Everyone had left the scene.
Five victims showed up at Albany Medical Center. Another one flagged down police near Hudson Avenue and Quail Street, and was taken to the hospital.
The victims include:
- A 16-year-old boy from Schenectady shot in both legs.
- A 16-year-old boy from Schenectady shot in his buttocks.
- A 17-year-old boy from Albany shot in the arm.
- A 18-year-old man from Schenectady shot in the thigh.
- A 19-year-old man from Albany shot in his foot.
- A 19-year-old man from Troy grazed in the head and shot in the elbow.
