The owner of hundreds of snakes and rats being raised inside a Queensbury apartment is now facing five counts of animal cruelty.
The owner of hundreds of snakes and rats being raised inside a Queensbury apartment is now facing five counts of animal cruelty.
Thomas Goodspeed breeds the exotic snakes and sells them, according to the Warren County Sheriff’s Office.
He uses the rodents to feed them, but the animals aren’t being cared for properly, police said. Police and the SPCA of Upstate New York are still working on a plan to take custody of the snakes.
