Cambridge-Greenwich Police Chief Robert Danko has been charged with unlawful imprisonment and harassment in connection to a fight in June with a woman he knows. Danko is on paid leave.
Sources told NewsChannel 13’s Mark Mulholland that Danko had an extreme risk protection order hearing Thursday. Those orders are requested when a person may be dangerous to themselves or others.
Because Danko did not appear, the order is automatically issued.
He is due back in Salem Town Court on Aug. 19.
NewsChannel 13 has a request for records out to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office. We have not yet heard back.
