South Glens Falls man guilty in murder of Albany musician
A jury quickly found a South Glens Falls man guilty of the murder of an Albany man.
Jeff Henderson was convicted of killing Benjamin Rowe, who was a 2015 graduate of Guilderland High School and a beloved member of the Albany music scene.
Closing arguments wrapped up Friday afternoon, and a jury deliberated a short time before finding him guilty of second-degree murder and criminal possession of a weapon.
Rowe’s murder was a random act of gun violence, according to investigators.
Henderson faces 25 years to life in prison when sentenced on Nov. 8.
Henderson was scheduled to possibly plead guilty in April, but he did not show up for court after police said he refused to get on the bus at the jail.
