We now know how much this year’s South High Marathon Dance has raised, as hundreds of South Glens Falls students danced for 28 hours straight.

The grand total was just under $747,000 raised.

It was the school’s 47th annual Marathon Dance.

The students began dancing at 7 p.m. Friday and wrapped up at 10:30 p.m. Saturday.

This is all to raise money for 13 organizations that provide support to people in the community.
