Spectrum announces rate increases for services

Spectrum customers might get an unwelcome surprise on their next bill. Spectrum will increase the cost of its internet service, its bundled voice service, and its broadcast TV surcharge, starting with the next billing period.

The increase will be $5 each for internet and bundled voice – and $1 for broadcast surcharge.

A Spectrum representative told NewsChannel 13 that any customer with Spectrum internet or faster who is currently paying the regular price and is enrolled in autopay will get a recurring $5 per month discount, resulting in no change to the price of internet.
