Stabbing in Schenectady on Albany Street.
A man is behind bars and another is fighting for his life after a stabbing in Schenectady.
This happened Friday night on Albany Street.
Police say when they arrived, they found a 43-year-old man who had been stabbed several times.
He was rushed to Albany Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.
Police say they found the suspect near the crime scene an hour and a half later.
23-year-old Belford Atchinson is currently being held in the Schenectady County Jail.
He is facing assault, weapon, and reckless endangerment charges.
