Stacks Expresso Bar is moving – but just down the road.

The Albany business is moving from 260 Lark St. to the former home of Café Hollywood at 275 Lark St.

CEO Susan Dunckell said as soon as the space became available, they thought it was the perfect location to expand.

“We can do the events. We can do the jazz nights; we can do the book clubs. We can do all of those cool things that I think this street really needs, and we also get to recommit to this location,” he said. “Our New Year’s resolution is to stay here on Lark Street. We believe in it, and we’re excited to be a part of this community.”

Dunkel said the new shop will also be open later to help provide another late night option downtown for event goers. They are hoping to open the new location by the first week of February.
