State Police arrest Niskayuna man for child porn possession

New York State Police say they arrested Tucker J. Cherry, 19, of Niskayuna on child pornography possession charges on Thursday.

They say Cherry is accused of possessing images consistent with child sexual exploitation while in Glenville.

The investigation leading to the arrest had stemmed from a cyber tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, said State Police.

Authorities say Cherry was charged for possessing a sexual performance by a child, a class E felony.

Cherry was arrested and processed at State Police of Princetown, issued an appearance ticket returnable to the Glenville Town Court on November 21, and released.
