The FBI has agreed to share the results of its internal investigation into how the agency handled Shahed Hussain, the owner of the limousine involved in the deadly crash in Schoharie.
The 2018 crash killed 20 people.
Hussain was also a longtime FBI informant.
Rep. Elise Stefanik announced this week the FBI will give her – and the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence – its report of the FBI investigation into the crash.
Several lawmakers have questioned if Hussain had gotten special treatment from the government as a reward for his service as a confidential source.
