Anthony Zazzaro, 16, of Stillwater won the Mother-Lovin’ 5K in 2023. His mother, Diane, was his motivation. At the time, she was dying of colon cancer. She had been diagnosed in 2021.

Sadly, she passed away just three days later.

Anthony is comforted knowing that his victory in her honor was one of his mom’s last best memories.

He is more motivated than ever to make her proud.
