Students in the Corinth Central School District were encouraged to wear orange – the school’s color – on Tuesday to celebrate the safe return of Charlotte Sena.
NewsChannel 13 saw many kids walking home and wearing orange t-shirts. Even around the community, almost everyone was wearing orange.
Charlotte, 9, was found on Monday around 6:30 p.m., after being kidnapped from Moreau Lake State Park on Saturday. She was found in a camper behind a home in Milton.
Parents people who live in the area told NewsChannel 13 off-camera that it was a sigh of relief when we broke the news that Charlotte was alive and going to be OK.
Charlotte wanted to start a group for kids who did not have friends, State Police said. She always wants to put others first and loves to be outside.
A suspect, Craig Ross Jr., was arraigned at Milton Town Court around 3 a.m. on Tuesday. He’s now in the Saratoga County Jail without bail.
