Students return to Pittsfield High after break caused by boiler issue
Pittsfield High School back open after being off two days while they waited for a temporary boiler to get inspected.
Students returned to Pittsfield High School on Friday after a two-day break to install a boiler and get it inspected.
The school was forced to close because it lacked heat. The district is getting a new boiler installed and has a temporary one attached to the school in the interim.
However, it needed to be inspected and that couldn’t happen until Thursday.
Those missed days will be tacked on to the end of the school year.
